Night Out in Philadelphia
The Copperfield show was great. Only 1 1/2 hours long, but how many magic tricks (illusions) can you watch? The stuff he does is IMPOSSIBLE, except that he does it!
After the show we met Sean & Dannielle at Lucky Strike, and that was really a lot of fun. Food, Drinks, Bowling, Pool. But the bowling is $12.95 per person per game, which I guess pays for the DJ and flat screen TV's that are everywhere.

Brie Appetizer was so good.

David Copperfield @ The Academy of Music
Harrison & I are going to see David Copperfield at The Academy of Music this Friday night:

DAVID COPPERFIELD:AN INTIMATE EVENING OF GRAND ILLUSION is an affecting, life-changing event that reaches into the audiences' minds and hearts and takes them on a feast of wish-fulfillment. Displaying his off-the-cuff brand of humor, Copperfield breaks new ground in GRAND ILLUSION and takes his art to a grand yet intimate, personal yet universal dimension for an evening of wonders you'll never forget.
We have great BOX Seats which we have had for the last few shows we have been to at The Academy, and now I always want BOX Seats!

Night Out in Philadelphia
Hairspray at the Academy of Music was really good. Dinner at Good Dog was excellent (as always). Their White Chicken Chili is crazy good. Later we met Sean & Dannielle at Estia ( did not go to XIX). We had drinks and dessert. It is a Greek Restaurant, very pretty! (see pic)

A Day with Friends & More Spring Flowers
On Saturday I spent the day with Janice and Candy. Janice had a great plan, and we also finally celebrated her birthday. Started at an Orchid Farm. Janice is gifted at growing orchids and she wanted to share this Orchid C
enter with us. It was gorgeous. You go from one greenhouse to the next going "Oh My Gosh, Look at this one!" I did buy one, and I plan not to kill it (this time). Went on to an absolutely excellent lunch at The Piper Tavern. Next a garden center (forget the name of it, but I did find a rare yellow rhododendron, which I brought home for David to plant) Then a Boutique Wine S
tore in New Jersey, where I picked up some lovely reds, and 3 bottles of excellent chardonnays. Finally back to Janice's house in Upper Black Eddy to share Champagne and Cheesecake.
